How long does the treatment last?

Treatment times can be accurately determined based on the digital plan. The shortest treatment is 3 months and the longest 1-1.5 years.

How many hours a day should you wear it?

The aligners should preferably be worn 24 hours a day and only to be taken out at mealtimes.

The aligners usually need to be replaced every two weeks until the teeth reach the desired condition.

How should they be cleaned?

Its cleaning is very easy. Wash thoroughly under cold running water with a not too coarse toothbrush.

Do my teeth hurt during treatment?

The first time you wear your aligners, you may initially feel some discomfort because this is the so called, ’moving’ phase. This is expected as this is the way ClearSmiles works. The discomfort will disappear in a day or two.

We take impressions of your teeth and take some x-rays and photos. ClearSmile aligners are manufactured using 3D compter-aided method. We create a plan for you with before-and-after images which will show you how your teeth will move. Once you have accepted your plan, we make your clear aligners. They will be given to you by your dentist with detailed instructions on how to use them.
