Combined dentures
What is a combined denture?
Combined dentures, as the name implies, consist of a combination of two other types of dentures: fixed and removable dentures. The fixed part, such as a crown or bridge, is attached to the existing teeth by gluing. The removable part is anchored to these teeth.
How is a combined denture made?
During the first meeting, our doctors carefully assess the health and dental condition of the patients, and then the treatment plan is drawn up keeping your needs in mind.
The preparation of the combined work can actually be divided into two stages:
- making the recorded part
- making the removable part
During the preparation of the fixed part, the teeth participating in the anchoring are ground, and then the required crown or bridge restoration is made using dental technology using a precision impression.
The removable part is made in close cooperation with the fixed part.
The completed works are handed over at the same time.
When can combined dentures be considered?
If the number of teeth suitable for fixation is too few or it is not possible to implant an implant.
